XCCube - ALSA konfigurieren für SPDIF OUT

Der onboard Soundchip funktionierte auf Anhieb mit dem snd_intel8x0 ALSA Treiber. Was noch ein wenig der Konfiguration bedarf ist die Aktivierung des optischen SPDIF Ausganges zum Anschluss an meinen Dolby Digital Receiver. Das ermöglicht eine verlustfreie Übertragung der Audiodaten und somit einen glasklaren Klang. Beim Abspielen von DVDs und anderen AC3 Quellen erspart man damit dem Rechner ausßerdem das Dekodieren des AC3 Signals. Es wird mittels AC3 Passthrough einfach unverändert auf dem SPDIF Ausgang ausgegeben.
